Fun Wedding At Clearwell Castle!

Clearwell Castle is a gorgeous wedding venue in Coleford in the Forest-of-Dean in Gloucestershire.

This was an amazing day for me because not only was it at such a lovely venue but also because I was working with my own amazing wedding photographer Tammie Louise Photography! I knew it would be a day full of fun with Tammie, she’s so much fun to be with.

She was one of the people who inspired me to become a photographer when I made the decision 4 years ago and we became friends and kept in touch after my wedding. Working with her now was incredible!

The Groom Preparations

I began by meeting the groom Nathan at the gate house where they were staying which is situated at the entrance to Clearwell Castle.

I set about photographing the boys getting ready while Tammie was at the castle with the bride Jade getting ready.

The Ceremony

The church was literally steps from the drive to Clearwell Castle! I captured the guests as they arrived to the church and it felt like a very happy morning – I love the atmosphere of a wedding morning, everyone is in such good spirits!

Jade walked in with her father and looked so beautiful, you can see how proud he felt walking her down the aisle! The traditional ceremony was followed by the newlyweds leaving for their reception in a white Bentley! The guests made their way back to the castle to greet them on their arrival. With glasses of champagne of course!

Couple Portraits

While the guests were enjoying their welcome drinks we took the couple for a walk for some couple portraits. The lake at Clearwell Castle gave some lovely reflection photographs!

The group shots followed which were informal and fun, just how I like them to be. You want to remember your guests and family laughing and having fun on your wedding day so I love group shots that are full of laughter! It was effortless with these guys, always joking together and simply having a great time!

Singing Waiters!

The wedding breakfast had a big surprise instore when suddenly one of the waiters and a waitress broke out in song during the meal!

Soon they had everyone standing up going in and waving their napkins in the air! It was amazing and really got everyone in the party spirit!

Here are some of my photographs from this fun wedding and I hope you enjoy looking at them!
